This note seemed to strike a chord. Probably because it’s both true and, more interestingly, true in two seemingly opposed ways:

—or how technology is domesticating us
Technology or perhaps more broadly civilization domesticates humans as much as it does dogs and cats. Domestication is a process that makes animals appear younger (and cuter) than their undomesticated counterpart i.e. Golden Retrievers look more puppy-like as adults than wolves.
Consider the twink: is he not an adult man who looks more like a boy?
