Rather, "slop" seems to be content that optimizes for the medium at the expense of some other value. Good at mass distribution, loses subjective quality
I think slop can have aura. But I am not impressed with Sora, or Vibes, and think even if you have no copyright, and full pornography on there, you're still not going to get people that hooked into the thing. Because the meta content of content is people, and social status games. You need the slop to come from someone, for some reason, to ground it in your social and libidinal reality.
